I replaced the tuna with salmon in this fresh spring salad.
Sriracha is a traditional chili sauce from the city of Si Racha in Eastern Thailand and is known for its sharpness garlicky taste. Sirachasauce was originally used in the local seafood restaurants and has become an indispensable part of Asian cuisine. The ingredients of Flying Goose Sriracha Chilli Sauce consist of chili peppers, vinegar, sugar, salt and a little garlic.
This sauce (and all variations) is really a top product. There are versions with garlic, lemongrass, sweet and sour, superhot, ginger, ... I recently read that Sergio Herman is also crazy about this sauce, I can only agree. In combination with Kewpie (pronounced QP in English), a kind of slightly sour mayo with high level umami taste, perfect on many dishes or between a sandwich as extra sauce. Also read the story about the origin of Kewpie mayonnaise, really crazy for words, the Japanese anyway! Read my recipe of nacho's with bolognese and sriratcha!
